Operation Nehemiah is a faith based non-profit organization committed to the cause of helping all individuals in the New Orleans community rebuild all aspects of their lives in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Using volunteers from all over the United States and even from other countries we are determined to be source of hope for a city that will not give up. We are convicted by God’s love for us to go out doing the will of the Father. “By this all men will know you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35).

Our facility has room for 150 people to sleep. We have shower facilities and we can serve all meals on site. Located at the northern edge of the French Quarter you will see first hand the beautiful collage of where the historic and modern New Orleans converge.
