Request Help or Prayers

        If there's any way we at Operation Nehemiah can help you, we'll try our hardest!  There are three areas that we focus on in our ministry to the people of New Orleans: gutting, reconstruction, and distribution of donations.  All of our work is done by a dedicated crew of volunteers, so the amount and type of work we are able to accomplish depends mainly on what skills our volunteers have.  If you would like to have our staff and ministers praying for your needs, please let us know by calling us or sending us an email at prayers@operationnehemiah.com.

       If you are in need of any of these types of assistance, we ask that you fill out our Needs Assessment Form, which you can download from the above link.  Just fill out this form completely, sign at the bottom, and return it to us by bringing it into our office, or by mailing or faxing it to us.  Your information will then be placed into our database, and we will have a record of your needs.  To assist you further, we also have a list of Other Available Resources which you may find helpful.  If you find that any of this information is incorrect, we ask that you let us know so we can update it for everyone's benefit.

        At times we have shipments of food, furniture, and appliances, and as we receive those, we distribute them to the community.  Due to the large number of people in our database, we will be unable to make phone calls notifying you when a shipment arrives, but we encourage you to contact our office every few weeks to see if anything has come in.

       We hope that we will be able to assist you in rebuilding your home and returning to life as normal, but we must remind you that there are many hurting people who all need a lot of help.  At Operation Nehemiah, we do what we can to assist the people of the New Orleans area, and we thank God continually for the opportunities He has given us to touch lives!  Thank you for your encouragement and prayers, and we pray that God continues to bless you!
